The philosophy on which the foundation of Columbia Convent was laid in 1991, is to impart holistic education to every child, catering to their scholastic and co-scholastic development. The Founder Chairman, Late Shri Virendra Singh Tyagi, a visionary, believed in personality-centric rather than just knowledge-centric education. The very essence of education is to dispel the darkness of ignorance and march towards enlightenment with virtues of a compassionate human being.
